In My Skin

Crawling into my skin I wander this temporal life as a human...struggling with my humanity while reaching to God. All the while God reaches down to me, to become a man and die for me.
He expresses His great love for me that while I was yet a sinner, Christ died for me.
Love gives of itself. Religion demands that I behave myself. Love just does.
Religion, while telling us Jesus is the Way, then says you don't need Christ because if you follow our religious rules you'll be accepted. Jesus said you're accepted because of what I have done for you because I love you, now love one another.
