One of the things that I find fascinating about Jesus is that He was such a renegade. He wasn't rebellious. What did God say about rebelliousness? "Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, stubbornness [is as] iniquity and idolatry..." 1 Sam 15:24
Jesus never rebelled against God. Jesus was a renegade against the religious stuff that the religious people enacted. Consider the overturning of the money changers tables in the temple. His zeal for God drove Him. Not religious popularity. His love for us fueled His anger at those who were misrepresenting God, by selling their crap.
Jesus never rebelled against God. Jesus loved always without fail. Love never fails. This made Him a renegade from the religious system for it had become a system that professed God with their lips, but their hearts were far from Him.
May we truly seek the Truth and not just a excuse to cast off Jesus. For He alone is Truth.
Be blessed. Be a blessing.
