I went to a men's prayer breakfast this morning. It was fun, but I don't think I saw anybody making food faces. They were just chowing down and talking politics.
Gosh, you know Arlee, if you go back to one of the first months I started doing this I talk about how I've gotten tired of politics. I even think one of my blogs this past month dealt tangentially with it.
There is a song by Sam Phillips, I love her voice, that says, "I need God, not the political church."
We lose sight of so much when we are trapped in our left vs. right political prism. As a matter of fact I thought about reposting parts of one of my earlier blogs about that.
Yes, breakfast can be fun....once one get out of bed.
